Hotel Pilgrims – Hotel near airport in Kathmandu

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were huge and simply lovely, well-appointed with a flat-screen TV offering many channels. They looked decent and clean. The service was exemplary, with the staff being friendly and very helpful, even offering to pick us up from the airport. The location was great, close to all major roads and just a 5-minute walk to Durbar Square, although a bit noisy for light sleepers. The dining experience was delicious, especially the cappuccinos, and included in the room price. Overall, a fantastic value for the money.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and good value for money, albeit a bit small and shabby. The service was friendly overall, but things took a turn when I declined a trekking offer. The location was a mix of being away from the noisy part of Thamel but also near good restaurants.
